The Tresanton Hotel, St Mawes: New suites at Rock Cottage
The successful association of CAD Architects with the premier Hotel in Cornwall continues.
Back in 1998, CAD Director Peter Bayly carried out the original works that created the Tresanton Hotel in its present form. Now, three new suites have been created in the adjoining Rock Cottage, which further enhance the significant attractions of the Hotel.

The interior of the two-storey cottage next to the Hotel has been completely removed and re-built, and a completely new second floor has been added. The transformed property, now has an attractive French Mansard appearance, with five external balconies with decorative metal balustrades. The interiors are of a high standard to match that of the existing Hotel.
The Tresanton Hotel, St Mawes: Restaurant Extension:
As the Rock Cottage works were being completed, CAD Architects started to oversee the construction of the Hotel Restaurant extension. These would have to be carried out during the Hotel ‘quiet’ periods immediately before and after Christmas, giving the Contractor an extremely short and demanding construction period. The design and construction information provided by CAD Architects has enabled works to proceed rapidly. The large restaurant is a vital element in the continued success of the hotel.
