CAD FM

No, it’s not a new radio station; CAD FM is our new Facilities Management department.

If required, it can provide a full management service for schools and their management teams - from initial assessment to completion of works.


Focusing on delivering what each individual school requires, CAD FM will undertake an initial assessment before offering a bespoke package which will include:

• Attending a meeting of your Governing Body to introduce the company and to outline the service.  Thereafter will attend quarterly if required.

• Undertaking an inspection of the buildings and grounds and producing a report detailing any works apparent that may be required to be carried out over the next three years.

• Producing a digital report detailing all compliance matters, identifying regularity of renewal, provider and costs (in the future we aim to host this service on our server to give schools remote access).

• Undertaking a separate Health & Safety Inspection and producing a report highlighting any compliance issues and proposing remedies.

• Being available on a 24 hour 7 days a week basis to provide emergency response to building failures. Our emergency response service is limited to the initial response to make the building wind and water-tight and secure.

To provide a quotation for such services we will need to visit your school and compile a schedule of Compliance Requirements, a Preliminary Assessment of Buildings and Grounds and establish what contracts exist or commitments are current. With the above information to hand we will tailor a package to suit you and provide a clear quotation of annual costs.

Additional services that CAD could then offer include Project management, Design, specification, tendering and inspection of works and thereby helping you realise your vision for your school environment.
