CAD Architects: Lislee House, St Mawes

The team at CAD Architects have just completed a large extension, alterations and complete refurbishment project at Lislee House in St Mawes. Prior to starting work on the property we came across an old photograph featuring the team from ‘Green and Harris Builders’ who originally built the house for Dr and Mrs Shaw in 1937. We thought that on completion of the works it would be a lovely idea to take a photograph of the present day team, from ‘Frost Builders’, who have been working on the project since the building works commenced in May 2013.

The work to the existing 4/5 bedroom detached property included the construction of a garage and boat store accessed directly off Tredenham Road with an attached store and WC, provision of a new terrace to the front of the house with two guest bedrooms discreetly located underneath, a pair of glazed bay windows added to the frontage with Juliet balconies over, a new entrance canopy to the front door with reconfigured utility accommodation to the side, modifications to the rear of the main roof to enlarge the first floor, a connecting bridge between the half landing to access the rear garden through new patio doors and landscape to the front garden.
