CAD Architects, Truro, Cornwall: Minecraft Architects in the Making!

After a couple of busy weeks looking through all the exciting and creative entries we received for the Minecraft Hotel Design Competition we have finally managed to pick out a winner!

There were some fantastic concepts received with designs incorporating features like waterfalls, glass facades and room divisions, luxury swimming pools and pyramid skylights. The imagination of the entrants was really tested and it looks like they had a lot of fun creating their designs to fit the competition brief.

The entries received have proved that there are some very inspired and talented young architects across Cornwall and we hope that the students that took part may consider pursuing this career path in the future.

Now for the important bit...drum roll please...the first prize of a family nights stay at Watergate Bay Hotel including a surfing lesson with the Extreme Academy goes to Olly Pugh and Ollie Holmes from Truro School.
